Create a new menu item

Step 1: Click on “Add menu” button to add a new menu item.

Step 2: On “Add menu” popup, select the menu direct you want and then enter the required information.

BASIC

  • Title: The main label of the menu item.

  • Sub-title: An optional secondary label displayed under the main title.

  • Type: Defines the type of item (e.g., menu link, custom content).

  • Select a Menu: Choose which Joomla menu item to link with this entry.

  • Sub Megamenu: Select whether the submenu is displayed as Columns or Tabs.

  • Submenu width type: Set submenu width as Custom (specific value) or Full Width (match container).

  • Sub-Menu width: Define the exact width of the submenu (e.g., 500px).

ICON

  • Icon type: Choose whether to use a font-based icon or an image.

  • Icon: Select the specific icon from the icon set.

  • Color: Choose the icon’s color.

  • Size: Set the size of the icon (e.g., 24px).

  • Alignment: Align the icon to the left or right of the menu text.

EXTEND

  • Bubble text: Short text (e.g., “New”, “Hot”) displayed as a label/badge.

  • Bubble Color: The text color of the bubble label.

  • Bubble Background: The background color of the bubble label.

  • Hidden on: Choose which devices (Phones, Tablets, Desktops) the item should be hidden from.

  • Tag class: Custom CSS class for styling the menu item.


Step 3: Click Accept to complete adding menu item.
